The
music is rhythmic, vibrant and tender, saying something real
about life and love and loss.
From the Cuban disco-inspired “Take
a Chance” to the soaring ballad “Butterfly”,
Eileen Faxas has a voice that can make you want to dance or
make you want to cry.
“I was once described as a
cross between Gloria Estefan and Celine Dion,” she laughs,
“which is fine with me because I love their music!”
A unique voice in the pop landscape,
Eileen’s sound is warm, pure and powerful, drawing from
pop, latin and old school jazz influences. Her intelligent
lyrics tell stories, and she packs an emotional wallop when
that voice wraps around a ballad.
You can listen to short samples of Eileen’s songs from
her debut CD “Dance Cry Swing” right here.
